Have you some time had that little voice inside you, telling you that you are not ok, or that you shouldn't start a project because you are just going to fail? This little voice can unfortunately turn into a bigger noise if we feed it. Here are some tips how you can turn it down:
Write your negative thoughts on a paper and throw it away. (don't judge this one, try it!)
Distract it with one interesting thing, like listen to some music you like..
Try to focus on it, an let it wash through you. Set it free and out from your mind and body. Don't fight it, just let it go. When I hade a panic attack, for example, I stopped wherever I was, and just felt the fear come over me. Scary, I know. But the next time the feeling was less strong and over time it passed away.
When you released these negative feelings, refill yourself with some positive ones. Like a good book, or affirmations. I like to watch funny movies and comedy. I can release the negativity with laughing. Super effective!
Breath it out. When you feel it coming, breath in quickly and deeply 4 times, 1,2,3,4, and release it trough your mouth, with the sound of AHHH.
Focus on helping other people. When you help others you have no time to feed your negative thoughts.
